Jim Clark,Tulsa, finally left town to see his sister in El Paso and bowl. Jim needed only a 35 game to win his first SASBA Title in the last match. His 313 pin margin is the biggest in SASBA history. Clark averaged 14 pins highter than the next player. He lived in the pocket with his simple, three step approach. Jim will be a star, if he starts venturing out of Tulsa. John Denton finally got the ball out of his bag, and took second. NOTES: Walter Hudosn won the dog of the week award with a 125 low game of the tournament, then withdrew and went fishing. Fred Barnes left the lily in the finals. Phil Prieto got him a new wrist brace, and his ball is now moving right to left, a little. Jim Hensley beat his doubles partner 224 pins in the qualifing round. Gayle Currie filled in at the bracket table and ate all of the candy, we didn't get any.
