Tracy Text Box: Jim’s Notes Text Box: At All Star Lanes in Shreveport, LA, Steve McBride and Roger West vied for the lead most of the tournament. However, Dale Eagle used a 300 in the 5th game of the finals to get close enough to Steve that if he won the match, he would pass him. Steve rolled a great 245, but Eagle ran off an eight-bagger for 269 and the title. Roger got 3rd, Mark Estes finished 4th and Maury Newman rounded out the top 5.
