Text Box:         Charlie “Woody” Hufford proved he could bowl on synthetics as he and Tyler Corbin led from the start until the position round at the member/guest doubles at All Star Lanes in Shreveport, LA. In the position round Jim Ensminger and Chris Johnson had an 38 pin lead, meaning Charlie and Tyler had to win by 9. Both teams started with /XXXX, then Tyler left a 3-6-7 split. Chris then left an 8-10. Tyler converted the split and they only had to hold onto the margin they had gained. Three more strikes did the trick and the Hall of  Famer had another title.
         Jim King and Omar Text Box: Arnett got 3rd, Dennis Francis and Mark Busscher were 4th and Rick and Paul Minier rounded out the top 5.
        Thanks to Claude Thomas and staff for hosting the first member/guest tournament held in Shreveport. We had a full field with a waiting list. They want us back again next year.
        Our next tournament is the Annual Trio tournament at AMF Euless Lanes in Euless, TX on April 25-26. You have to have at least one Super Senior on your team, and if  the other two are under 60, both can’t be champions. There are many bowlers Text Box: wanting to bowl, but don’t have a team yet, so if you need help building a team, contact us for the list of available bowlers. Entry fee is $190 per person.
         The New Braunfels tournament will be limited to 90 bowlers, as we only have lanes for one squad at 9;45 am. The meeting will be at 9:00 am.
