Text Box: In the non-champions tournament, Steve Wright led the qualifying, then had to win the last match vs Joe Vito to garner his 1st SASBA title at Bandera Super Bowl in San Antonio. Roger LeClair went around Joe the last game for 2nd, Gordon Stuntz got 4th and David Gorsch rounded out the top 5. Along with Wright, who was bowling in his 2nd tournament, Randy Burns (1st tourney), Gorsch and Rodney King (2nd) made their first finals. In the 50-59 Champs tourney title match, Paul Houston started slow, then put together a 6-bagger at the end to overtake qualifying leader Joe LeCroy

In the Super Senior Champs tourney, Jim King started split, split, then came back to defeat 70 yrs young Jim Paine who led the qualifying. Instead of the normal two tournament requirement, you are eligible to bowl in this one if you have bowled in one tournament this year...due to the number of cancelled tournaments.
