Butch qualified fifteenth out of the sixteen finalists. He rolled 248-268-200-279-Text Box: 275-266-300-254, a 263 average. The 200 game was his only loss to Gary Pfeil’s 211. Calvert started the final match with a open and edged out second place Rick Minier by nine pins. David Ozio was third, Jim King fourth, and Thomas Young was fifth in Text Box: his first SASBA tournament.
