Text Box: David Rountree captured the Ebonite Senior Tour Super Senior tournament in Tomball. Gene Rivers was a distant second, Charlie Hufford third, Tip Bullock fourth, and Ben Edwards was fifth.
Dennis Francis was back in form, winning the Senior tournament. Bob Glass was second, Pete McCordic third, Jim King fourth, and Jim Ensminger finished fifth.
The pocket was not hard to hit from both sides. If the corners would have been easily Text Box: knocked down, the scores would have been gigantic. Like Dale Dumbleton who was minus 17 with three games to go, reeled off an 837 for the next three and said he bowled just as good the first five games.
Our next tournament will be in Enid, Oklahoma. The lane and squad assignments will be drawn on the Wednesday morning before the tournament. If you need a certain squad or you are traveling with someone Text Box: and need to bowl on the same squad, please indicate that on your enrty and we will accommodate you.
The meeting will start at 8:15 AM. A Squad will start at 9:30 AM bowl eight games, the lanes will be stripped and oiled, B Squad will start at 2:15 PM. On Sunday the low half will start at 8:30 AM, the top half will start at 10:45 AM. The lanes will be stripped and oiled for the finals. See ya there!!!!!!!!!!!!

Text Box: Jamie’s Tournament Notes
Text Box: Ed Kilcullen edged Ernie Beltz 123 to 124 for low game of the tournament to win the dog of the week award.
Dan Saenz left the lily.
Three hundreds were rolled by Rick Minier, Dale Dumbleton, and Ben Edwards, none of them were using an Ebonite Ball. Ebonite is giving a $100 Text Box: for every 300 game rolled in SASBA with their balls.
Kirk Harper started one game with a ten bagger and left a stoned 5 pin, yes a 5 pin.
Bill Smith won a match in the finals.
Jamie Brooks and Stan Workman both had SW minus ones. Someone saw Ron Depolo hook the ball. He was using an Ebonite Big Time.
Text Box: Bob Glass was moaning about not being able to carry the ten pin. How do you finish second without carrying the ten.
Zap got another new name. Stan was good.
Dick Smith lamented that Robert Gibbs and John Sands had the widest pocket ever, bet he has not looked in the mirror!!!!!
