Text Box: The Tulsa duet of Wally Cummings and Tracy Patterson captured the Ebonite Senior Tour Member-Member Tournament at Don Carter City View in Fort Worth. They came from qualifying third to pass Jim Ensminger and Ron Leverich the sixteenth match and held on for the win.. Qualifying leaders Ensminger and Leverich finished second, C.J. Johnson and Jerry Swank; third, T.J. Johnson and Fred Barnes; fourth, and Dewayne Thompson and Bobby Wilkinson ended in the fifth spot. It is time to start thinking about the Ebonite Firecracker tournament in Tulsa this summer. By popular demand, Dr Dean Hinitz will return for his seminar. This seminar will be on July 7th, and will also include the latest new high end Ebonite ball, a chance to demo the new Ebonite line of balls for only $150.00. The tournament again will have two divisions and $7,500.00 added in each the Senior and Super Senior Divisions. THERE WILL BE FREE SWEEPERS FOR ALL ENTRANTS ON THURSDAY JULY 8TH WITH $4,000.00 ADDED. Text Box: Bud Walker rolled 132 low game of the tournament to win the dog of the week award. Dennis Francis, Dee Munsell, Jim Ensminger, and Randy Summers all rolled a 300 game. Pvt Jerry Swank rolled a Thunder Strike and a Thunder 7-9 in the same game. Where has Ronnie Diamond gone? The twin towers paired up and argued for 27 games. Mike Fleming joined the lily club. Bill Keenan’s pair did not finish last. It appears that bowlers from Baton Rouge all wear back supports. Is the uniform or is it something in the water? Toby Yeager has the SASBA dog of the ABC tournament with 113 low game.
