Pat Currie won his first Ebonite Senior Tour tournament in the Senior Champions Tournament, at Don Cater City View in Fort Worth. Pat led the tournament and defeated Mike Fleming for the title in the step ladder finals. Joe Tidwell was third, Mark Estes fourth, and Sal Turano fifth. Bob Freehauf qualified fifth and ran over the top four to win the Super Seniors Champions Tournament. Jamie Brooks was second, Jerry Beavers third, C.J. Johnson fourth, and Toby Yeager fifth. Tracy Patterson just ran away from the field to win the non champions tournament over 106 other members.  Patterson averaged 241 for the 20 games.  Jerry Swank was second for the second week in a row, and Paul McCordic was third for the second week in a row.  Ronnie King was fourth and

The Summerville Memorial Tournament is a one time $160 entry fee this year. There will be two divisions, Seniors and Super Seniors. This is the last SS event of 2003. Check the entry blank for more info.
Bring your strike ball and come to Shreveport this weekend. A lot of the Stars are in Vegas, means more open spots in the finals.  See ya there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notes:

Russ Ramsey rolled 124 low game of the tournament to win the dog of the week award. Three hundred games were rolled by Don Wall and Jamie Brooks. There was a new bowling record shot at this tournament. Since the beginning of time no lefty has had an all spare game(they strike too much), Jim Fluffy Paine had 10 spares in a row for the first one ever. Matt Roberto bowled great. Gary Pfeil and Keith Lohse made their first finals. Mike Monticue missed by a pin, OUCH. Randy Fuller got a check. Larry Carlson finished. The law dog was the only senior Champion that did not average 200.
