Mark Estes captured the Senior Tournament and Bob McGregor won the Super Senior Tournament at Astro Bowl in San Antonio. This was a first for the Ebonite Senior tour having two tournaments in one week end.  Estes came from the back of the pack needing to win the final match by 15 pins against Jimmy Young, he won by 19 to win the tournament by four pins over second place Young. The qualifying leader Rick Minier was third, Joe Binder fourth, and David Rountree fifth.
Bob MacGregor won his 23 SASBA tournament in the Super Senior event. Dave Dupont was a distant second, Cliff Park

third, Robert Gibbs fourth, and John Denton fifth.
The bowling condition had a ton of oil in the middle with a tube of super dry to the right and an OB to the right, the left had the same with no OB. Hard straight shots were the best. The ten pin was stubborn.
Our next tournament is in Longview only an hour away for the boats in Shreveport.  See ya there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notes:

David Addington won the SS dog of the week with 136 low game of the tournament, he didn't like it but still made the finals.  Dave Hoff and Mike Sarff tied for the dog of the week in the Senior tournament with 137 low game.  Congrads to Jim and Kathy King who got married Thursday night before the tournament.  Phil Bailey presided and that will be his last wedding unless Jesse Jackson decides to take the plunge (FAT CHANCE).  John Riley made the finals.  Richard also made the finals after back surgery, he will never go for twenty-five again.
