GLASS TOO TOUGH

Bob Glass averaged almost 230 on a super tough bowling condition to capture the Ebonite Senior Tour stop at Emerald Bowl in Houston.  Glass was just out of the sick bed from the flu and a bad back.  How good would he be healthy? John Woessner gave Glass almost all he could handle finishing second.  Mark Estes edged qualifying leader  Rick Minier for third and fourth.
Notes:  Tommy Trahan won the dog of the week award with a 98 low game of the tournament.  Gary Dickinson did not make the finals. Richard Britton  almost made the finals.  Ronnie Diamond was chirping.  Bill Smith bowled so bad that he missed dinner Saturday night, the first meal he has ever missed.  The black bus would not start Sunday morning, so Neely had to bowl, 699 for four.  The black bus, when finally started, left in a cloud of black smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!  Reggie Wallace lost his wheel Sunday morning and we could not find it all day.  Jim King and Kathy stayed at a motel that had a kitchen. Kathy cooked in every night. Saturday night she had to purchase a FAMILY PACK of pork chops to fill the big guy up, there was no left overs!!!!!
