MAGOO-22, BEAV-3, GONZALEZ-1

The Twisters, Bob McGregor, Jerry Beavers, and Henry Gonzalez captured the Track Senior Tour Trio Tournament in Dallas at Don Carter West with a 228 to 202 victory. This win was Magoo's 22nd, The Beav's 3rd and Henry's first. The Rattlers, Jesse Davis, Ron Leverich, and Phil Baliey  were second. The tournament drew 36 trio teams who bowled twelve matches each with a five team step ladder finals.
Notes: David Addington won the dog of the week award with 113 low game of the tournament. He did not

like that. Perfect games were rolled by Doug Barron and Henry Gonzalez. Buck Chavis was really proud of his fine 299. Maury Newman, SASBA bowler of the year joined the lily club. Ronnie Diamond found his tail. It was between his legs!!!!!  Stan Workman was almost speechless when his team made the finals, well almost, not quite.
