Houston's finest, David Rountree and Marc Laracuente
captured the Track Senior Tour Member Guest Doubles tournament at River Lanes in
Tulsa. A double in the tenth by Marc forced Gary Roberts to get the first strike.
Gary got eight, giving him and Jim Hardesty second place. There
were one hundred teams entered. Twenty teams made the 20 game baker finals and
another 13 teams cashed.
Steve Thompson won the dog of the week award with 129 low game of the tournament.
Per
fect games were rolled by Wes Mallott,
Stace Bohlender, Todd Zenner, Phil Kepner, Bob McGregor, Scott Farrar, and Steve
Stanton. Paul Pender , Kerry Fulford, and Fred Hicks made their first finals.
Jim Carter hurt his back the first set of a squad.
Trio Tournament
We are going to Don Carter West in Dallas for our annual
trio tournament this next weekend. Each team has to have a
super senior and only one of the other two
can be a champion (team champs don't count).
