Bobby Wilkinson; Shreveport, was in
second place at Plano Super Bowl, in the Track Senior Tour tournament, going into the
final position round match. Dee Munsell; Fort Worth, had led the qualifying and the
finals, needed to win the match for the win. Wilkinson blasted a fine 268 to best
Munsell's 220 who finished second. Ronnie Diamond, Dallas, had a fine tournament
averaging 241 and finishing third.
Notes: 300 games were rolled by Phil Ballard, John Martin, Wayne Dodson, Sam Hitchcock,
Jesse Jackson, Maury Newman, and Tom Wolf. Mike Monticue rolled 138 to win the dog of the
week award for low game of the tournament. Charles Avant made the finals. First time
cashers, Ralph Seibe; Nashville, James Cockrill; Ravenna, TX, Billy Hargett; Austin, and
Bill Gunn; Kansas City. We had 162 entries.
Starting next tournament we will list those who don't finish the tournament. When you bowl
bad and don't show on Sunday, it causes a hardship on the guys you are crossing with, for
they have to bowl short. |
